The installation, Perishables – an array of sculptural components making up The Lettuce Curtain, The Bed of Lettuce, Lettuce Pray, and From Sea to Shining Sea* 1 and 2.
Line from song “America The Beautiful” by Katherine Lee Bates, which also refers to the two ends of the U.S. Mexico border from the Pacific at Tijuana all the way to the mouth of the Rio Grande and the Gulf of Mexico at the Texas edge.

The installation has been shown twice in different ways, at Open Ground Studios in 2017 And at California Center for the Arts, Escondido for the show, DesEscondido with members of Public Address, September 2018.
